About TPSC :- Tripura got her statehood on 21st January, 1972 and Tripura Public Service Commission was established on 30th October, 1972, under the provisions of Article 315 of the given Constitution of India. Sri G.P. Bagchi was the first of Chairman and Sri I.K. Roy was the first Member of the Tripura Public Service Commission. The Commission is, at present, located at the old Assembly House of Tripura, at Akhaura Road, Agartala.

The main functions of the TPSC are as follows :

- To recommendation Government on any claim by or in respect of someone World Health Organization is serving or has served below the govt in a very Civil capability, any price incurred by him in defensive legal proceedings instituted against him in respect of acts done or purporting to be exhausted the execution of his duty or any claim for award of a pension in respect of injuries sustained by someone whereas serving below the govt. To advise on any matter therefore stated the Commission by the Governor.
